- Ella trips over her plastic food, her response "Hey, what's the big idea?"
- Violet..."Hi Ella, want to play?" Ella..."No, no I don't Violet. Ella wants milk"
- Matt..."Does Minnie Mouse have a tail?" Ella..."Yes, she does" Matt..."Does Ella have a tail?" Ella..."No, I have a hoo-hoo"
- Ella..."It's dark, the sun went nite-nite. Where the time go?"
Ella was three months old yesterday. She continues to grow and change every week. She weighs 11.5 pounds and is 23 inches. In the last month, she has gained control of her arms and legs, and is less spastic when moving them. She found her hands and loves sucking her fists, she has yet to suck her thumb. She has full control of her head and no longer resembles a bobblehead. She is gaining control of her back and is able is sit up for short periods of time. When on her tummy she is able lift up her head and chest and rest on her arms. Not only does she smile, but now has a little laugh, that sounds more like a cough. She is mesmerized by the TV, the bold colors and sounds hold her attention. It's amazing how fast she's growing, it seems like she was just born yesterday. Can't wait to see what the next four weeks will be like.
