20 Down, 20 To Go and Nursery Update!

We had our 20 week appointment today and all checked out well. Ella's heartbeat was easiest to find this appointment, which was comforting, it was 152 BPM. The doctor said we should sign up for a tour of the hospital and parenting classes, i.e. First Time Parents, Newborn Care and CPR and Daddy 411. She also said I could fly until July, so looks like we'll be heading to NY the last weekend in June. Our next appointment, 24 weeks, is scheduled for April 21st.

With the help of my sister, who surprised me and came to visit last week, we attempted to start decorating the nursery. Our friend Greg came over last weekend and installed an electric box in the ceiling in the nursery, from which we were able to hang a chandelier on a dimmer. I am so EXCITED with how it turned out!

I have been very indecisive lately, so the chandelier is as far as we got. I'm hoping when my mom comes for Easter we'll be able to get more done with the nursery. I have picked out the following:

It's A ..... GIRL!!

Matt and I had our ultrasound appointment today and found out that we are having a baby girl...Ella Mattie!! She is perfect, already stubborn and a thumb sucker! Her heart, spine, kidneys, bladder, head, arms, legs, everything is PERFECT and right on track for 17 weeks. She weighs 7 ounces.
