- After a game of 'Ring Around The Rosie' her response "Whoa, whoa, I'm busy"
- Ella trips over her plastic food, her response "Hey, what's the big idea?"
- Violet..."Hi Ella, want to play?" Ella..."No, no I don't Violet. Ella wants milk"
- Matt..."Does Minnie Mouse have a tail?" Ella..."Yes, she does" Matt..."Does Ella have a tail?" Ella..."No, I have a hoo-hoo"
- Ella..."It's dark, the sun went nite-nite. Where the time go?"
Ella is eight months old already. Every time I write her monthly blog, I can't believe how fast time goes by. The biggest change from last month is that she now rolls over and sleeps on her tummy. Now that she can stand being on her tummy, she is getting closer to crawling everyday. She's now at the stage where she gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, but for some reason, she only makes progress backwards. Ella has started waving when people wave at her. It looks more like she's waving at herself, but she's working on it. She also has a case of classic separation anxiety. She cries anytime Matt and I leave her sight and she has become very shy and fussy around others. She started saying "dadadada". She hasn't associated saying it to Matt, but he's convinced otherwise. We started going to Gymboree this month and Ella LOVES it. Her favorite part is the drum at the beginning. When we visited Grandpa in Florida, Ella flew on a plane and went swimming for the first time. We couldn't have asked for a better tempermant, she did great on the flight. She also enjoyed swimming as much as we thought she would. Ella had her first cold ever this week. It's heartbreaking and hopefully it's almost over. Can't wait to see what the next four weeks will hold..crawling maybe???
