First Prenatal Appointment..

Matt and I went for our first prenatal appointment today. Normally, first prenatal appointments are scheduled for eight weeks, somehow our appointment was scheduled early, which is fine, our next appointment won't be for six more weeks, instead of four. My blood pressure was perfect 98/60 and physical exam was normal. Since we are only six weeks along, we weren't able to hear or see the baby's heartbeat. Our plan was to frame pictures from our first appointment to give to our families as Christmas presents, to break the GREAT news! Plan B...baby onesies. Sunday we are celebrating Christmas with Matt's family and Tuesday we are flying to NY to be with my family. It's so hard to keep a secret like this from them. I think we find relief in telling a few friends each day. Our next appointment is scheduled for January 28th, and we'll get to see and hear our baby's heartbeat!! So EXCITING!
